Leger is an old school family band playing the music of their
heritage: the traditional music of Quebec and New Brunswick.
La Famille Leger plays the instrumental dance music of French
Eastern Canada on fiddle, accordion, guitar, piano and pieds
(clogging). Patriarch Louis Leger leads the band on the one-row
accordion. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Louis grew up speaking
French as his first language. Louis and his fiddling son, Devon,
are joined by Devon's wife, Dejah, on piano and Devon's mom,
Barbara, on guitar. La Famille Leger plays music for dancing,
music handed down through generations in the New World, music

ERIC JOHN KAISER Eric John
Kaiser traveled over 5,000 miles from his home in Paris, France
to move to Portland, Oregon. After he recorded his debut solo
album "L'ODyssée" in Paris last summer, Eric decided he wanted
to take a fresh look at the world. He loves nothing more than
to play live music and delivers an energetic live performance
reminiscent of the uptempo excitement of The Police, Neil Young,
and Bob Marley but in French ! And keeping in line with the
Homeric title of his solo release, Eric and his trio take their
audience on a musical odyssey that travels from rock to hip
hop to reggae. It's a voyage this humble French Troubadour invites
everyone to join. Eric John Kaiser will make you feel like he
traveled those 5,000 miles to play just for you. |
